A hint over the horizon reveals the rising summer quarter point spacemix for this magical year of 2021.
If you want to listen to it unspoiled, then consider this sentence the one and only spoiler alert. You can just wait for the mix to come out on July 9. For everyone else who remains unspoiled by knowing the playlist in advance, well here we go.
We casually groove off the summer vibe with a classic top hit from the 1990s by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince titled “Summertime”.
Just when you feel the laid back momentum, in echo of the striking moments in life, we drop harder into a modern gear shift that launches us into “Suboriginal” by Basher Toe.
Modulating back into the classics, we are “Moving in Stereo” in 2-fer combination with “All Mixed Up” by the Cars.
Synth stabbing inwards is my “Number One” song (thank you, Chaz Jankel) from the soundtrack to one of my favorite movies titled “Real Genius”. I highly recommend that 1985 movie for a fun and smart ride, as it still works today imho and btw, especially during a psychedelic mindset.
Blending into a glorious expression of relaxing sarcasm comes “IGY” by Donald Fagen.
Dripping electric chimes brings another temporal shift into modern times via “1001 Nights” by Mindex.
In tune with the restoring meditative zone of this seamlessly spacemixed playlist, gently transition into focusing upon your third eye with Alex Theory & Shiva Rey as we modulate the “Ajna” chakra.
A wonderful tug of your emotions presses sympathetically nicely from the sound of the piano keys being played, as George Winston carries us to the “Moon”.
Finally, we hang out there within a meditative balance, as we tune in via “Signals 5” by Motionfield.
Speaking of hanging out at the moon, you are all most welcome to hang out with yours truly at my YouTube channel, when I live stream in an Offbeat Psychedelic Moon form.
For your convenience, and as I naturally stream whenever fit — not a fixed schedule, although I can only stream from 9:30am-11:30am and 7:00pm-9:00pm (eastern time zone) — I am working upon implementing a non-intrusive (i.e. non-annoying) text messaging notification system that simply alerts you right before I start streaming.
The nightly slot is the moon stream, while the morning slot is reserved for the sun stream.
The moon stream is a casual, purely friendly, and typically trippy hangout, where you can hang out inclusively with my parallel universe persona, while he/I plays video games that fit that environment.
The sun stream is an improvised monologue that adapts via chat interaction with trippy visuals. That welcoming destination is where I express Wavism information (as provided by my parallel universe persona) that hopefully helps the healing cause. I’m still working on the trippy visuals, so the sun stream is a bit delayed, while the moon stream is ready to flow.
Both streams include fitting and original background music that I am always working to expand upon.
If you want a sample of the moon stream vibe, then check out my Trip in the Stream video, which is a highlight real with some post production added for artistic reasons. I hope to make a lot more Trip in the Stream videos, and include bright chat moments — perhaps including a shout out in your wonderful direction.
Speaking of you, as I publish spacemixes as singles that are easy for sharing and playlisting, and as long as I do not run afoul of copyright law, I welcome your request for songs from SQP21 to be published as singles.
Because I’m very busy, I do not plan on releasing all songs as singles at this time. As I am strongly focused upon healing sounds, “1001 Nights”, “Ajna”, and “Signals 5” are already primed for single release there.
Yes, in case it comes up within your brain, I know that I mix contractions with the contrary, and yes, I do that intentionally. It depends upon what I’m, or I am, writing about in that precisely worded moment.
