First Amendment Abuse

Prompted by “The Former Prosecutor Who Consistently Gets Criminal Justice Reform Wrong”: https://reason.com/archives/2015/09/03/the-paul-ehrlich-of-criminal-justice-ref

No one expects our elected representatives to be experts in every area of public policy. At the same time, we have every right to expect that our representatives will consult policy analysts and experts who know what they’re talking about, not someone who has been proven wrong time and time again.

You can read the details in the prompting piece, but my point here is simply that leveraging wrongness consistently to uphold mass rights-infringement is obviously worse than deceptively yelling “Fire!” in a crowded theater (such yelling an illegal act commonly relied upon to demonstrate violating the limits of protection by the first amendment).

It’s perfectly clear who actually is in violation of constitutional law, and it’s not the intended targets of such blatant reason abuse against righteousness.

Anyone promoting the only possibly unethical sustainment of Certain Drug Prohibition must be subjected to proper public scrutiny to ensure they pay for their criminal lies.

Otherwise, corruption continues its widespread and too often deep destruction against public safety on behalf of drug prohibition addicts desperately lying and effectively stealing taxpayer money to get their prohibition fix.

Hypocrisy combined with ‘might makes right’ is never going to be the path of progress by any intelligent measure.

Do enough people care yet (to a degree actively leading to sufficient public organization to confront that corruption)? The whole truth (and nothing but) clearly answers no — corrupt might disguised as progress is the best path, according to a net-resulting mass embrace of unethical (and ironically illegal) judicial blindness.

My inner cynic is rising, but furthering ignorance against courage is unacceptable.

It’s time for righteous folks to organize enough to publicly expose that corruption for actual progress.

I am an honest freak (or reasonably responsibly balanced "misfit", if you prefer) of an artist working and resting to best carefully contribute towards helping society. Too many people abuse reasoning (e.g. 'partial truth = whole truth' scam), while I exercise reason to explore and express whole truth without any conflict-of-interest -- all within a sometimes offbeat style of psychedelic artistry.
