I feel for the professional artists who have their careers in jeopardy due to this incredible technology. I feel for the majority of people on this planet who apparently have their careers similarly in jeopardy. The automation tidal wave is poised to be merciless in that regard, unless there is another level of employment for everyone due to that wave. That other level defies my imagination, so I have no sound reason to believe that it exists. I believe the ‘make money to survive’ paradigm is going the way of the extinct dodo bird, and society better be prepared for it.
The AI wave is enormously powerful, and I choose to do my best to adaptively surf it.
I will avoid using any image-generating prompt that includes the names of professional artists, as I am still considering the ethics of including them within that expression.
The tools of art have dramatically changed due to technology (including paint brushes and the like).
The bar of artistic leverage has been impressively raised.
I am an honest freak (or reasonably responsibly balanced "misfit", if you prefer) of an artist working and resting to best carefully contribute towards helping society. Too many people abuse reasoning (e.g. 'partial truth = whole truth' scam), while I exercise reason to explore and express whole truth without any conflict-of-interest -- all within a sometimes offbeat style of psychedelic artistry.
