A brilliant drummer friend of mine, going by the name Mojonine, thankfully majorly boosted the drum performance in Famous Stranger.
I took the data from his performance, and added whatever sounds I felt fit right, in addition to retaining my own rather simplistic percussive contribution.
This song (as is often the case with Trans-Dimensional Voice) comes from my electronic industrial roots.
But I like to bring more of a science fiction and/or superconscious quality to carry the listener outside of the mundane, while still often tapping into common emotions that we all feel.
The song reflects the exploration of the probably untapped (and scientifically unreal) line between fame and obscurity fwiw.
The spacemix is a highly creative remaster of my original piece. By highly creative, I simply mean that I added a lot of layers of low-volume effects and equalization alterations, so not just a common remastering of the work.
