Typing this while waiting to take my mom out to a rare meal elsewhere in an establishment well-known as a restaurant, I begin my weekly posting a week prior to posting (I know, exciting stuff).
My life is a serious challenge these days (unlike yours — or is it your’s? — I sarcastically assume), so expressing tension by way of this process well-known as writing makes at least some sense.
I really could spend an obnoxious amount of time going on about well-known this and that, but deviation thankfully comes to the rescue.
Hours later, our restaurant visit turned into a bust as change claims yet another victim. No longer serving anything but sushi, while my mom doesn’t like sushi, led to picking up a pizza on our way home.
While I would tend towards Italian pizza here in the Boston area, a small place a couple of blocks from where I grew up (opened decades ago when I was eight years old) offers a Greek pizza that has not been beat in my experience (high-quality ingredients with the right amount of toppings excellently placed). But I digress — expecting a lot of digressing in these weekly posts, so you probably want to grab onto something for mental stability.
This paragraph has the “privilege” of being written on my 47th birthday. The greatest highlight was my mom (who has mild-to-moderate Alzheimer’s disease) gave me a card — one written in a way showing no mental decline.
A drop into the waters of hyperbole, there is an enormous message likely coming at some point, so stayed tuned.
So much more to say (e.g. I didn’t get to rant enough imho to reinforce the “clever” post title), but no time to say it this week, so I hope you get to righteously rest more than rant.
✌️🙂
