Spatial Magic Advanced

Immersed lightly in early morning heat and humidity, I find a rather peaceful moment to finally share the exciting part of my life these days.

Let me start by embedding a broken-looking (at least in my experience) Mixcloud player that manages to thankfully successfully (or not) play my first Psyonics mix…

Starting with the tremendously reputable Shpongle in trippy circles, attentive listeners should immediately recognize something preferably significantly different in the sonic experience.

I call that difference Spatial Magic, and I healthily confidently (not arrogantly, or such) believe that every (at least outside-the-box) musician should at least hear it.

Taking a stereo mix into my humble studio, I utilize advanced audio plugins to add intricate spatial effects to create a freshly innovative and highly immersive listening experience.

The aforementioned Psyonics mix satisfies my ears (every detail of that intricacy is accurate imho), and I hope your ears meet similar positivity.

Moreover, in the commonwealth of Massachusetts here in the United States, cannabis legality (while righteous) is dripping from the spout due to absurd judicial nonsense “to protect the children”. Thankfully due to personal (i.e. non-commercial) allowances in cannabis sharing, another door has thankfully opened.

Another apparently unique technique that I have developed along with a friend of mine is the ability to carefully mix 2-10 (or more) cannabis strains in a high-quality vaporizer (I highly recommend either the Arizer Solo or Air 2) to intricately deliver unbelievably more depth and texture to the neurological symphony that is perception.

A single strain is like listening to music in stereo, while the combination of strains adds unimaginable dimensionality basically similar to experiencing surround sound.

We applied that technique (which I sadly do not have a name for yet — feel free to help us here) at a cannabis and yoga event called Buddha Buds — happily leaving behind a trail of enthusiasm and curiosity prompting our involvement in the next Buddha Buds event coming this month.

In addition to carefully making a cannabis blend for that event, we have also been invited to provide the music and visuals.

And that brings us full circle back to my Spatial Magic audio technique, which is being applied to as many of the songs as possible for that event.

The combination of those techniques (especially with yoga) modulates people experiencing that combination seemingly to another universe. It should be a very powerful experience.

The variables are basically infinite, so each event can be dramatically different.

My friend and I are excited by this nascent positioning, and hope we can bring these techniques forward globally as lawfully permitted.

The last song of the Psyonics mix is my Stress Health piece titled “Thank Zendo” (with reference to the awesome Zendo Project — a group of people who expertly help ‘bad trip’ sufferers at events such as Burning Man, including working with law enforcement and healthcare professionals to minimize harm).

“Thank Zendo” is a healing ambient piece from my soon-released EP titled “A Path to Reality”, and it showcases what Spatial Magic can do when applied not only to a stereo mix, but to every instrument — so opening up many more dimensions of listening experience.

Feel free to join us in that magnificent dimensional expansion to be shared worldwide.

I am an honest freak (or reasonably responsibly balanced "misfit", if you prefer) of an artist working and resting to best carefully contribute towards helping society. Too many people abuse reasoning (e.g. 'partial truth = whole truth' scam), while I exercise reason to explore and express whole truth without any conflict-of-interest -- all within a sometimes offbeat style of psychedelic artistry.
