Here’s my final ‘Vote Yes on 4’ post, but don’t cry, it’s all good.
Massachusetts (my home state, if unclear) has legalized recreational cannabis with my sincerest appreciation.
The road ahead is still fairly rough, however, as bipartisan rights-infringement “to protect the children” continues at significant taxpayer expense.
It took two years after medical legality to realize the first medical dispensary due to outrageously excessive governmental control — and indications shine a light towards repeating that outrage on the recreational side.
When I can lawfully walk into a store with a reasonably large selection of top-quality strains (including Cheese) and obviously exit with my purchase, then I will maximally celebrate this victory.
With lawful experience, I can share my results openly to socialize with other people capable of similarly lawful usage — while our nation continues to press for at least removing cannabis from the demonstrably purely disastrous Controlled Substances Act.
Hopefully together, we will help cannabis human relations mutually prosper in order to prevent cannabis abuse.
