While 25 states and the District of Columbia have approved marijuana for medical use, the DEA’s announcement Thursday reaffirmed the federal government’s view that marijuana has no accepted medical use. While stores selling marijuana line the streets near many of Colorado’s research institutions, the only federally legal place for scientists in Colorado to obtain marijuana for study was, until Thursday, a lab at the University of Mississippi.
That monopoly was a frequent source of complaints from researchers, who said the lab struggled to produce marijuana of the potency or precise chemical composition that they required.
“They either scrap the study,” Brookings Institution senior fellow John Hudak, a marijuana policy expert, said of the researchers, “or they change the study to meet what the supply can offer. And that’s not good science.”
You see the sick loop leveraged to enrich sanctioned thugs in the “land of the free”?
People with a serious financial interest in demonizing cannabis strictly control the supply of cannabis for lawful research purposes.
As their hideously biased supply methodology fails to allow good science to reinforce the very strong anecdotal evidence leading to half of our united states legalizing its medicinal use, the prohibitionist overlords come out and proclaim that no science is available to prove the need to end that strict supply methodology.
And the cycle continues, while many billions of taxpayer dollars are poured annually into the pockets of “law” enforcement (quoted due to no rationale allowing Cannabis Prohibition to be constitutional at any level of our government), millions of non-violent (i.e. innocent) lives are ruined to varying degrees by prohibition, and no concrete evidence proves literally any positive effectiveness for the public good from prohibition (quite the contrary — noting we do not even have a drug-free prison system).
That is the obscene power of law abuse that too few people acknowledge and apply reasonably passionate care to uproot.
Law abuse is an effective enemy that is far more dangerous than any risk prompting the likely unethically manipulated public cry for liberty-infringing law within a nation supposedly upholding an unalienable right to liberty with no officially documented exception (i.e. the public and our public servants have uncorruptly undeniably no authority to infringe upon unalienable rights).
That is a powerfully logical reason for a ‘safe until conclusively proven unsafe beyond a reasonable doubt’ base for judicial righteousness to prevent law abuse. That inevitably necessitates a genuinely unalienable right to liberty — a right that “We the people” factually hypocritically (for sanctioned discrimination) refuse to uphold for over two centuries of national existence and exacerbatingly counting.
Hypocrisy is a (if not the) main mental poison degrading national integrity, and it tragically began all the way back at our national beginning when pre-American conservatism across the political spectrum dominated to continue racial abuses, gender abuses, sexual discrimination, and so on to include persecuting certain drug users preferring to avoid the usually stupidity-enhancing (and even possibly deadly) drug called alcohol to relieve unhealthy stress.
Hypocrisy reinforced by thuggery sanctioned by the leading hypocrites.
That is the message that our nation is sending to our children supposedly for their protection, and my message (responsibly tuned in with our clear-but-terribly-ignored national obligation) here to protect us all from law abuse — the worst from of abuse due to its mainly broad scope of destruction — meets almost exclusively a mysterious silence embraced throughout the public mindset.
So the gross and flagrant flaw lives on, while submission to its demonstrated evil is the main course of momentum in the “home of the brave” and beyond.
I refuse to eat that toxic meal. I understand what liberty has to be for optimal civility, and I will die for that genuinely unalienable right, if need be.
Surely you have thoughts on all of this, so please feel free to share them in the comments here.
I welcome any honest disagreement (I refuse to exercise the egotistical butting of heads), but just don’t be a jerk about it, and always remember that I’m very sensitive to spin (or any other form of reason abuse) and will expose it for educational purposes.
Express your fear of reprisal, if that fits the truth.
Attempt to expose my ignorance, if possible. I give my very best to be right, but nobody’s perfect, and I truly appreciate correcting my mistakes.
Put down my unfortunately odd (but admittedly challengingly honest) presentation styling, so I can publicly defend it against whatever popular criticism that clearly emerges.
But never remain silent amid the wolves “protecting” the sheep.
