“Peace Within Chaos” is carefully designed for anyone to tune their mind with composure amid unfamiliarity.
Frankly, that’s enough information on the matter, but I feel compelled to explain further, so consider the following as optional reading material for anyone interested in traveling this verbal path.
Stress Health was born from my desire to bring my flavor of music to a water aerobics class that I took with my mom (something we could do together that worked off calories instead of adding them on).
The initial set of Stress Health pieces were therefore relatively uptempo (with one rest piece at the end for post-workout slowdown purposes), and they “evolved” for many years after my last step into the pool.
Basically everything I’m doing is experimental on the frontier of modern entertainment, so there’s a lot of necessary adaptation to refine that experiment into something palatable for my audience.
The end game for those initial pieces formed a collection of work that I originally titled “Acceleration”, then “Healthy Work Ethic”, but I since updated that title to the very accurate “Splash Ride to Rest Mix”:
“Peace Within Chaos” begins the Healthy Relaxation Ethic series of pieces, but I’ve since changed relaxation to rest (which better fits contrasting work) and then dropped the formality of Healthy Rest Ethic anyway.
It’s critical for responsible entertainers to righteously spread the word about the fundamental balance within humanity — the one between healthy work and rest ethics (as opposed to the sadly currently popular work more and rest less ethic forming a terribly powerful imbalance causing all sorts of unhealthy stress and consequent abuses — including violence and horrific degrees of drug abuse, and the consequent mental destruction rendering composure impossible to secure within that stressful vicinity rippling outwards to threaten society further into perpetuity/posterity).
However, formally separating Stress Health into the major categories of Healthy Work Ethic and Healthy Rest Ethic simply becomes a misfit, so from hereon, there are only single pieces (and those pieces will likely be rest-based ones for the foreseeable future to help raise awareness of the need for that fundamental balance). Moreover, I will mix pieces together as fit for a longer listening experience.
Finally on this adaptive front, Stress Health has been called an entertainment project, but I’m adapting that into an entertainment ecosystem (with the amalgam “enteco” — pronounced however you prefer, noting I like ‘n-tee-co’ — for simpler communication).
That’s all I’ll say for now about entecos, but rest assured there’s a lot more to come here on the subject.
The basic formula of “Peace Within Chaos” is unfamiliar tonality (albeit reasonably gently in style and amount) being nicely brought together by meticulous spatial effects work, so the net result has a peaceful structure representing composure (balance) within the potential discomfort from tonal oddity.
I’d love your feedback (especially whether or not the effect works to encourage composure amid mild life turbulence), so let it fly.
