Obama Consistency

“…President Barack Obama must work harder to remove marijuana from the list of Schedule 1 controlled substances…”

What makes optimal sense is ending the Controlled Substances Act altogether in light of the fact that prohibition has (seriously destructively against public safety) failed to create even a drug-free prison system.

That would fit perfectly with then presidential candidate Obama stating the war on drugs is an “utter failure”.

Literally speaking, there’s no sustainable reason to sustain the war on [arbitrarily some] drugs.

Certain Drug Prohibition (the bigger and badder sequel to Alcohol Prohibition, which “mysteriously” required a federal constitutional amendment for judicial effect) is demonstrably ineffective, destructive, expensive, scientifically unwarranted (at least in the case of cannabis for which there’s no experimental science concluding any harm from moderate use), and unconstitutional (the Commerce Clause is clearly an improper judicial base — and cannot logically defy the ninth amendment necessarily judicially implementing our fundamental rights, despite that powerful catchall amendment being illegally disarmed via flagrant judicial corruption).

Law abuse to pretend to oppose drug abuse (but really making lots of money for reason abusers and thugs) is not a civilized solution.

That was my comment in: White House protest sparks up against U.S. marijuana law (The Cannabist)

Note that I understand that Congress ultimately needs to end the war on some drugs, unless our judicial branch finally removes its own corruption to clearly recognize the blatant illegality of that perpetual war.

I am an honest freak (or reasonably responsibly balanced "misfit", if you prefer) of an artist working and resting to best carefully contribute towards helping society. Too many people abuse reasoning (e.g. 'partial truth = whole truth' scam), while I exercise reason to explore and express whole truth without any conflict-of-interest -- all within a sometimes offbeat style of psychedelic artistry.
