I thought the lawful limit of recreational cannabis possession in Massachusetts, as dictated by the likely upcoming voter approved legality in November, would be only one ounce.
With thanks to hp-fourtwenty, I’m gladly corrected, and I humbly apologize for any resulting confusion (if any).
One ounce pertains to public possession (designed to avoid unlawful street sales), but privately, Massachusetts adults can possess up to 10 ounces (similar to medical legality here).
That’s good news for cannabis connoisseurs desiring to maintain a nice collection of many strains that can be (optionally carefully) combined (i.e. “saladed”) to form more interesting effects (more texture and depth).
Strain distinction and combination is (without exaggeration) an oceanic issue, and upon legality, I’ll find whatever opportunity I can to dive into that metaphorical ocean with you all to discover the surprisingly many likely dramatic differences between the likely many cannabis subcultures masterfully tailoring cannabis effects to their uniquely positive set and setting — i.e. culture logically deeply influences strain and strain combination results.
Exploring those subcultures, while lawfully sharing results from the one I participate within, should be a lot of fun and allow the likes of yours truly (as a responsible entertainer) to appropriately insert educational messages to preferably help keep users from becoming abusers of this unbelievably dynamic plant.
