People’s Right to Blow

Prompted by: AP Style Alert: Don’t Capitalize Internet and Web Anymore (Slashdot)

The mainstream media logically plays a major role in public informing, so is the main player involving the people’s right to know (obviously a critical right towards civility).

Such media is utterly horrendous way too often (selfish entertainers relying mainly upon real, cheap, impressive-looking, and largely irrelevant tragedy to competitively secure revenue), so ignorance runs rampant.

Here’s a little taste of press culture…

In 2013 the AP even revised their usage of the term “illegal immigration,” advising “use illegal only to refer to an action, not a person: illegal immigration, but not illegal immigrant,” as part of a push towards’ridding the Stylebook of labels.”

No politically charged media bias against the formalized journalism code of ethics here, folks.

Move along, while non-taxpayers illegally entering our country in the millions tap into national resources at heavy taxpayer expense.

While a lot of people are in a slowly moving, burdensome, and lengthy line towards legal immigration, the pressures inevitably by people illegally entering our country against that legitimacy are politically irrelevant (because they’re cheap labor for penny pinching big shots and voting leverage upon amnesty). I guess both major political parties can get along sometimes — e.g. muddying the term immigrant to include the illegal variety purely for political means.

Use illegal to refer to an action, not a person?

So murderer, thief, rapist, con artist, liar, and so on are okay (at least for journalistically now apparently), but someone entering our nation in violation of immigration law doesn’t warrant a similar title.

I don’t believe in open borders for two good reasons — our nation is finite in size, and people bent on doing horrible things with no true intent of becoming a citizen can then easily nationally enter (so much for national defense in this serious case).

If we’re a civilized nation in practice (not merely presentation), we would promptly responsibly help neighboring countries in a way naturally preventing an exodus.

That does not mean building a 2000+ mile and taxpayer-expensive wall that can (and will) be bypassed by drug traffickers and everyone else escaping the hellish avoidance of civility basically exacerbated by drug cartels with enough money to buy military grade weaponry and bribe against good governance (not to mention dig deep enough to build many tunnels under a new wall).

As long as vicious thugs with lots of money (from the obscenely high profit margin that only comes from selling inexpensively made illegal drugs at the relatively very high price only possible within the black market) basically run things south of the border enough to cause mass fleeing, then their potential collateral damage will indeed run north into a nation where its “leaders” steal from its citizens to unlawfully comfort those runners for “leadership” leverage.

Of course, considering the fact that literally no concrete evidence shows prohibition matches drug abuse reduction (quite the contrary), our nation could (and by any uncorrupt reason, should) wisely simply end the war on drugs already ruining millions of lives nationally, which would then instantly cut off that serious financial supply line for gangs of all sizes (including those within our borders) — so save and protect many lives, while allowing civility to strengthen at least south of our border.

Sadly, we’re not a nation of laws, but one that pathetically pretends to be with lots of mainstream media help in that propaganda.

We’re a nation of many competing agendas (often leveraging an agenda system disguised as a justice system) acting like a bunch of schoolchildren doing whatever they want, because they don’t perceive any adult supervision.

The schoolyard bullies are fighting it out for control, while other children ignorantly watch chaotically helplessly (usually without bravery) to experience whatever flavor of victimization forthcoming to pleasure bullying dominance.

I unavoidably perceive that undying supervision (one that’s literally perfectly aware of all actions) via my uniquely paved path strictly in tune with the scientific method (logic), and while the result is too complex to again solidly ground here against brevity (though easily readable in the pertinent section of our Liberty Shield informational roots), suffice it to say that I found the fully logical version of karma — reality’s only possibly scientific need for balance and pure physicality inevitably meaning suffering out is suffering in — what I prefer to call the Rule of Reality for crystal clarity.

Imagine living in a world where everyone understood that it’s literally impossible to get away with abusive behavior, and how that would dramatically change human behavior towards civility.

That understanding can only come from formal/informal public broadcasting (in education, media, online activity, etc.), so feel free to unite with yours truly to spread that understanding in any way fit for your lifestyle.

That logically turns the people’s right to blow into the people’s right to understand.
