The sadly lingering notion that cannabis is harmful by default is a pathetic lie.
“I’m against testing for weed at all. It’s not a performance enhancing drug. And it has nothing to do with competition. It’s only tested for political reasons,” she said.
Spot on, Ronda. Although marijuana is on the World Anti-Doping Agency’s Prohibited List, the advantages it can offer athletes during a competition are, by WADA’s own admission, limited to “better focus” and “diminished stress.”
Those advantages apply to anyone desiring better health (including senior citizens being inundated with the relative equivalent of pharmaceutical bloodletting by leeches).
I’m confident that alcohol (that arbitrarily legal drug in a nation supposedly with an unalienable right to liberty) isn’t on WADA’s list, because alcohol essentially is harmful by default.
The hideous distinctions drawn against certain drugs is seriously hypocritical and unbearably stupid (i.e. highly destructive).
If sobriety proponents are demonstrating the superiority of always being sober by their pitiful display of hypocrisy (nonetheless outright lies) and obvious failure in the form of spending (wasting, so effectively stealing) billions of taxpayer dollars annually to still remain unable to even create a “drug free” prison system, then I’m utterly unimpressed as part of cannabis culture thriving against such “superiority”.
In the competitive spirit embraced by sports fans, cannabis truth reveals sobriety truth is losing in the survival of the fittest category, and it’s only a matter of time until enough A-type personalities finally understand and leverage that truth to bury the tough-talking (lying) dinosaurs demonstrating the need to lose hard and fast in judicial circles.
Thugs (including sanctioned ones) believe might makes right, so in words that thugs might understand — cannabis (and ultimately psychedelics in general) are kicking ass hardcore, and it’s only a matter of time until prohibition dominance is (yet again) broken.
While psychedelic risk (based mainly upon the oceanic set of psychedelic possibilities) remains most worthy of permanent respect, maturity and psychedelics do mix to form a healthier society by the responsibly focused application of that wonderful class of substances to much better manage stress (what health is really all about) with minimal side effects.
The obsessively sober are demonstrating the value of the ironic mantra…
Just say no to sobriety.
Just say yes to responsibly applied drugs basically functioning as clothing for the mind.
