First some highlights to set the stage…
“Even Leafly hopped on the bandwagon for a good cause, and overall, the ALS Foundation received over $100 million in donations by the time the summer of the Ice Bucket Challenge was over.”
“Cannabis has long been known as a viable treatment option to relieve symptoms of ALS, which was outlined in this handy chart created by the American Journal of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, but the most astonishing results have come from several ALS sufferers who have managed to slow the progression of the disease through regular, controlled doses of cannabis oil.”

“Another remarkable case comes from Cathy Jordan, who was diagnosed with ALS in 1986…she smoked a joint of Myakka Gold and felt her symptoms cease, essentially experiencing the neuroprotective effects of cannabis before they’d been proven.”
“She tried to tell her neurologist in 1989 that cannabis had helped her, and he tried to convince her husband to have her committed to a mental facility.”
“Now, finally, years later, there has been more and more conclusive research indicating that these patients’ self-medicating regimen was beneficial, after all. Preclinical data shows that cannabis has powerful anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective effects, and with regular applications, it may actually slow the progress of the disease and prolong the lives of the individuals affected by ALS.”
“Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis is a qualifying condition for medical marijuana programs in Delaware, Washington, D.C., Georgia, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New Mexico, and New York. However, with more promising research emerging, other states’ medical marijuana programs need to follow suit and allow suffering patients the right to try and treat this horrible disease with cannabis if it can provide them with even a little bit of relief.”
Struck by the last highlight, I start with the obvious problem of allowing law to dictate doctor prescription. How many people are suffering, because their state refuses to allow doctors to prescribe the well-proven drug cannabis (from thousands of international studies and experience reports)?
Stuck by the absence of positive reaction towards the understood need to educate people about the regulation mindset responsible for destroying the fundamental point of our nation (opposing law abuse for better liberty), as I work to better understand and craft that education, how many people are suffering?
My own experience (coming in a post series) with the cannabis miracle comes from someone I closely know diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. After only a few months of mild vaporized cannabis intake (“Cheese” by day, “San Fernando OG Kush” by night), the results have been truly astonishing (including the closely watched possibility of defeating the disease — which no other drug even claims to be capable of accomplishing on behalf of the millions of people suffering from this horrible disease as you read this).
Laws (regulations — i.e. textured prohibitions; or outright bans) have been severely destructive, but that fact is now too-often ignored in our wildly uncontrollable judicial environment where more laws are constantly being applied with literally no judicial respect for our fundamental rights (read my Liberty Shield introduction for the complete basis forming that irrefutable conclusion).
While there’s literally no concrete proof that anyone has been saved by Certain Drug Prohibition, there’s ample proof of the destruction by that prohibitive law against way too many people (millions have suffered, and millions more are poised to suffer, unless the public finally puts their collective foot down — as I continue working towards facilitating for public safety).
I cannot move past the need to change the public mindset back to the one igniting a violent revolution against abusive law — but to instead prevent the next violent revolution for the same serious public safety violating reason.
I cannot break free from these terrible chains without your reinforcement of the complete set of facts supporting our case against law abuse.
Law is often boring, which is a property relied upon to hide judicial corruption. However, to avoid caring about law is inevitably to avoid caring about people.
Responsible entertainers (i.e. educators understanding the need to entertain for student interest) need to publicly remedy the ‘law is boring’ problem immediately by more powerfully embracing the vastly improved information and communications system enabling far more granular success (basically think Whole Foods mentality meets entertainment) like a continuously publicly applied deep tissue massage for much better societal stress (problematic stress being the true cause of all sorts of abuse).
You may believe that regulations prevent harm, but I challenge you to verify that belief. Law is set to regulate the products you consume, but how can you be truly sure that regulators have not been bribed to look the other way? How can you be sure that the remedy from regulation comes without also causing (perhaps even deep and widespread) harm somewhere else (not being reported by journalists, so impossible to publicly identify)? You can’t, but you can be sure that spending precious financial resources (taxpayer money) on unproven laws is naturally destructive, so civility by default demands other remedies against law first and foremost (the opposite of today’s serious judicially regulatory momentum towards “civility”).
The only enemy of corruption is sufficient public exposure — not law. That exposure can occur without law, if the Entertainment Revolution arrives — as it logically is poised to do. While continuing to press on many other entertaining endeavors, I cannot abandon the quintessential need to promote that next major (and non-violent) Revolution giving us another opportunity to finally end the pre-American conservatism across the political spectrum against our fundamental rights (i.e. where actual progressivism, conservatism, and libertarianism logically meet to form a much stronger union in the form of scientific constitutionalism).
We cannot truly Respect Cannabis or public safety at large, until the horribly disrespectful law problem is properly publicly addressed. That address starts with sharing journal postings such as this one (repeatedly like ocean waves massaging land) for awareness raising. Never a scaremonger, but time is of the essence due to the many millions of people suffering right now as you read this patriotic and sensible proclamation.
Understand that I’m not opposed to regulation, so regulators have nothing to fear. I oppose the judicial format for regulation, and instead insist upon the educational format mandatory for civility (with regulator leverage being sufficient public exposure against corruption). That is the only right path, and the one naturally meeting our obligation to uphold our fundamental right to liberty necessary for the species-level of flexibility equaling the microcosm of an athlete remaining responsibly flexible for injury reduction and prime performance.
