Conflict of Interests Equals Public Degrading

Prompted by “When science isn’t forced to serve the God of Prohibition, it tells us something else entirely”: http://www.drugwarrant.com/2015/05/when-science-isnt-forced-to-serve-the-god-of-prohibition-it-tells-us-something-else-entirely/

“Of course, most of our national discussion on addiction has been hijacked by Nora Volkow and NIDA, whose agenda boils down to ‘drugs are bad.’ They promote the brain disease model of addiction which is essentially presented by them in the following manner:

  1. Drugs cause brain disease
  2. Anyone who uses drugs will probably get this disease
  3. Nobody should use drugs

And this supposedly justifies prohibition.

Of course, even if the NIDA model were true, it wouldn’t justify the sledge hammer approach of prohibition, which doesn’t actually address the problems of addiction but causes all sorts of other problems.

And the brain-disease-directly-caused-by-drugs model is also braid dead, since the large majority of drug users never become addicted.” (I assume he meant “brain dead” fwiw with my apology upon coming across as pedantic)

Before I continued reading, my mind already decided to bring truth to the matter here, so here’s my adjustment:

1. Unhealthy stress causes brain disease (actually all sickness, logically speaking)

2. Anyone experiencing unhealthy stress will probably get sick.

3. Nobody should experience unhealthy stress.

Validation followed by my continued reading of the prompting piece…

“We know the major reason why addiction is transmitted through families – and it is not what most of us think. There is a genetic factor; but there is another explanation that is even more significant – and that we can do something about. A major study by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the healthcare provider Kaiser Permanente (4) of 17,000 people has unlocked this – and its results have subsequently been replicated by over 20 studies funded by individual US states.(5) […]

‘A person who experienced any six or more of the categories’ of childhood trauma, Dr Felitti tells me, ‘was 4600 percent more likely to become an IV [injecting] drug user later in life than a person who experienced none of them.’ (6) He adds: ‘I remember the epidemologists at the CDC told me those were numbers a magnitude of which they see once in a career. You read the latest cancer scare of the week in the newspaper and something causes an increase of 30 percent in breast or prostate cancer and everybody goes nuts – and here, we’re talking 4600 percent.’

The published research showed that for every category of trauma that happens to a child, they are two to four times more like to grow up to be an addict – and multiple traumas produced a massive risk.”

Consequently well-articulated by the prompting piece’s author…

“In these instances, drugs are more a symptom than a cause of addiction, and to attempt to ‘treat’ drug addiction by merely attempting to eliminate drugs, doesn’t address the problem.”

Drug addiction is not the real problem (surreptitiously according to people with a serious financial interest in upholding Certain Drug Prohibition), but the popularly propagandized problem proclaimed by those people powerfully abusively leveraging the credibility naturally publicly assumed via community leadership (especially in law enforcement) with the ‘drugs are bad’ motif (including unethically interchanging the words use and abuse merely to those prohibitionists’ convenience).

Simply put, drug addiction fuels drug prohibition addiction. That’s the real problem (to put it mildly), because the internationally broad (and varyingly deep) destruction caused by law abuse in this case crushes the destruction of drug abuse (even when including the unethically arbitrarily legal drug alcohol) by literally any and all reported measures defining that latter destruction.

Actually addressing drug addiction would end the war on some drugs by sanely relying upon the unalienable right to liberty that should have prevented this egregious case of law abuse spanning several decades and counting — as that right was concisely brilliantly (and progressively) intended to do, clearly according to the United States Declaration of Independence — including protecting millions (if not billions) of non-violent citizens having their lives demonstrably ruined to varying degrees — and wielding that mass-protective right with the ‘war’ on unhealthy stress (a.k.a. actual harm), which serves to literally help us all (unhealthy stress is literally the source of all problems, logically speaking). Feel free to read my Liberty Shield introduction to scientific constitutionalism for more about liberty and law (which deeply affects health).

Certain Drug Prohibition is not the solution for society, but the serious obstacle powerfully preventing society from applying the right solution, so ‘certain drug’ prohibitionists can obscenely hypocritically get their prohibition fix (basically lots of money and thuggish dominance against public safety).

The mainstream media basically still refuses to include any of that key truth in their “unbiased” reporting, so the drug prohibition addiction (law abuse) causing enormous mass suffering (unhealthy stress) well-beyond that of basically any victim (or group of them) reported in the mainstream news these days (including those people sadly suffering from terribly destructive weather events) remains rampant — i.e. the mainstream media grossly selfishly (and demonstrably) leverages reason abuse instead, while too many people remain unaware (or stupidly apathetic) due to the absence of proper news reporting on the matter (righteous journalists take powerful note).

The bottom line is perfectly clear:

The mainstream media (with its unethically undisclosed conflict of interest with government to consistently secure newsworthy information about tragic events) basically enables law abuse ruining an uncountable number of lives with no proper end in sight.

Using people as fuel is obviously pure evil, and that evil is happening right now largely unhindered all around you (if not to you and/or yours). This is no exaggeration and I’m not being melodramatic. Pure honesty expressed with composure inevitably dictates that international fiasco.

I add the “bullying” and “stopbullying” tags to these kinds of posts for perfectly sound reasoning. While organizations are trying to end bullying in our younger years, there is no sufficiently popular effort to stop it during adulthood, at least in this Certain Drug Prohibition case — and that obviously sends the wrong message to children (as ‘certain drug’ prohibitionists are fond of hypocritically ironically saying to uphold Certain Drug Prohibition).

The war on some drugs is a devastatingly selfish war on way too many people (by way of a war on the unalienable right to liberty against any sane definition of American patriotism — i.e. an egregiously widespread act of treason, logically speaking) outrageously ruled constitutional by way of supremely judicially “interpreting” the Commerce Clause (“To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes”) to pretend to justify Certain Drug Prohibition — the horribly bigger and badder sequel to the ‘almost unachievable federal constitutional amendment level’ of obviousness in terms of public recognition of the failure (for all of same reasons that should have prevented that sequel) of Alcohol Prohibition.

“Respondents Diane Monson and Angel Raich use marijuana that has never been bought or sold, that has never crossed state lines, and that has had no demonstrable effect on the national market for marijuana. If Congress can regulate this under the Commerce Clause, then it can regulate virtually anything–and the Federal Government is no longer one of limited and enumerated powers.” — Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas [emphasis mine]

If your ‘blood does not boil’ by this wildly rampant unhealthy stress via abusive favoritism, you cannot possibly be human by any ethical standard, and you too are an enabler of this massively disastrously serious prohibition addiction.

If you otherwise care about being a dutifully good citizen (the following invitation inclusively warmly open to honorable journalists and public servants), and some-righteous-one dissatisfied by the outrageously lengthy duration in the form of “successfully” ending part of Certain Drug Prohibition by heavily regulating cannabis (more commonly known as marijuana) and unethically avoiding publicly pressing the ‘law enforcement is undeniably breaking the law by any rational measure’ point in order to protect traditional political leftism (that almost completely relies upon that “interpretation” of the Commerce Clause, and grossly exacerbates law abuse), then you have a new choice…

Stress Health’s Respect Cannabis campaign serves to firmly address the real problem (ending drug prohibition addiction to properly oppose drug — and fundamentally any other form of — addiction), so feel free to follow that link to the informational grounding there and appreciatively contribute in a manner fitting your lifestyle (perhaps by way of the “Up” programs expressed in that campaign grounding).

There are literally millions of people counting on us to finally challenge the powerful self-interest groups lobbying hard to get their prohibition fix. We must now form the needed (and sufficiently powerful) public intervention to protect those millions of people and get those prohibitionists the treatment they righteously deserve for public safety.

I am an honest freak (or reasonably responsibly balanced "misfit", if you prefer) of an artist working and resting to best carefully contribute towards helping society. Too many people abuse reasoning (e.g. 'partial truth = whole truth' scam), while I exercise reason to explore and express whole truth without any conflict-of-interest -- all within a sometimes offbeat style of psychedelic artistry.
