After posting my ninth psym (psychedelic symmetry) image at my Playful Skull’s Imaginareum (Facebook and Twitter), I realized that I have fallen behind here, but that’s okay for now.
An explanation of psym is in the psym album at my FB fan page, so I won’t repeat that here.
Designed to entertainingly trip people out via a 1080HD screen, my psym images are carefully crafted to “trick” the mind into believing movement is happening without actual movement, so a lot of work goes into tuning the image (including precise element positioning, blurs, etc.) for the right form of ‘shifting balance’.
If you’re using such a screen, then select the image above for maximum visibility here.
All of my content is Creative Commons, so feel free to use them as you feel fit, limited only by All Sines’ CC license (see allsines.com footer for details).
I will add psyms daily until I’m caught up, and then they are generally published every Wednesday and Friday mornings. I want to resonate with the positive energy from weekend anticipation (e.g. hump day).
