My WordPress experience has been excellent overall so far, but I feel compelled to express limitations potentially negatively affecting all of us within the WP community (with hopes that such issues will be promptly wonderfully resolved, though that probably goes without saying).
Tags are obviously an important part of any journal (cough, blog) post, and that remains certainly affirmed in my experience.
When authoring a new post, there is a nice sidebar option to “Enter your tags below”, and I love how an accompanying menu shows me the tags that I have used, so I can quickly select from that list.
A certain set of tags becomes the norm for me, but given the relatively complex span of topics constituting my authorship, that normal set expands beyond the fixed limit provided by the WP design/development team.
The magic number is 20. In other words, if any author uses more than 20 tags, then those tags alphabetically beyond that limit remain invisible (unless you tap the lettered keys to trigger their visibility).
The decade-plus-long web designer/developer in me understands the fix would likely be a quick one (simply change that 20 to a sufficiently high number remedying this issue to the satisfaction of the aforementioned team).

I am an honest freak (or reasonably responsibly balanced "misfit", if you prefer) of an artist working and resting to best carefully contribute towards helping society.
