Pre-Internet, the informational challenge was to access the information necessary to survive. Simply put, information was relatively challenging to come by.
Now the pendulum has swung to another informational challenge, as you all likely experience all to stressfully. Accessing the information required for survival is now essentially a ‘filter out’ issue (no longer a ‘filter in’ one).
Frustrating is my inability to follow even my wonderfully small-but-growing audience. You all have something to offer, but the informational river banks constituting my information feeds are threatening to flood (i.e. stress out my brain).
Helping reduce information pollution (without censorship) — as part of my effort to improve mental stress for improved mental health for society — is one of my main goals as an informing entertainer.
My contribution starts by minimizing my post activity online to respect your likely maxed-out information feeds. Ironically, this is my second post today, but I assure you that one (assuming the quality is reasonable — no post otherwise) daily suffices — pause — until I become a shameful post addict, of course (which is already pressing upon me, I confess and may be already seeking help on this front).
On the one (often, if not too often, ‘button’ pressing) hand, technology helps our effort against unhealthy stress. On the other (equally pressing) hand, technology harms our effort against unhealthy stress.
Seeking information for survival may ironically be deadly, and that information may keep you alive.
