Humanity is apparently dominantly driven by the “war” on stupidity.
However, as history agonizingly shows, stupidity cannot be legislated out of existence.
The only answer against stupidity powerfully applied against society is a powerful “spotlight” revealing such stupidity to that same societal group, so prompting a powerful backlash to end that stupidity.
However, that answer is never applied when the “spotlight” owners prefer stupidity (for whatever corrupt reason).
Is stupidity stirring up negative (i.e. human-harming) energy that, for one among many examples, eventually pulls a sufficiently large asteroid out of its orbit to slam into our planet to put an end to human stupidity (with serious “collateral damage”)? If so, no one should be surprised by that scientific outcome (i.e. all mental factors are physical, and all of reality is an ocean of energy from humanity’s perspective, hardcore-scientifically speaking, so energy-stirring rippling into the cosmos by humanity is certainly inherent).
Logically speaking, mental health (including whatever factors form IQ) is impacted by unhealthy stress. To claim that cannabis is always providing unhealthy stress is baseless and therefore unscientific. To claim that junk/pseudo science that effectively puts non-violent people in prison (or ruins lives to any degree) does not apply unhealthy stress against way too many people would be asinine and exemplify stupidity.
Cannabis use improves stress, while cannabis abuse results in the contrary.
To continue negating the obvious distinction between use and abuse in this cannabis case is as unscientific (and therefore stupid) as it gets. Science is the bond of understanding that connects us all in a way that irrationality (and the selective reasoning that too often forms it) can never intelligently match.
We (the worldwide people) can and must do a whole lot better. Thankfully, momentum is on our side in terms of cannabis legality (which logically includes the assumption that some degree of better scientific understanding by the public exists). The mainstream media (which relies upon public support) better continuously join in that understanding for their unfortunately questionable sake — unfortunate in that they are still apparently dominantly the aforementioned “spotlight” owners. Fortunately, stupidity has to face intelligence eventually and I welcome that outcome.
